More cycling photos

We pass lots of cotton fields

And another ruin

 "Turkish Undulation"

Our happy helpers

We stop one night at a beautiful lakeside pension

And visit mud baths

500 BC carved rock tombs

Our last day is a rest day. Aah, real coffee at Turtle Beach,

where we meet 80-ish year old Kaptan June, an environmentalist who campaigned to save a turtle nesting site from development 40 years ago. Her foundation now rescues injured turtles and continues to help save them.

Gotta love these signs!

And our last dinner starts with a boat ride past the floodlit tombs, and a delicious meal - for us a huge sea bass. Unfortunately the pics are too dark to share....
Farewell Turkey, with many wonderful memories and new friends.
